    E30 suspension issues in LA

To be quick the following has been done,

New front suspension in December. Control Arms,Tie rods inner/outer. I used OE BMW parts, I paid the price. New tires in February. Alignment last week.

    Anyways,

I just drove from Seattle to LA and my steering wheel for the whole trip was at 3/4 and my car pulls very hard to the right. Took it to a firestone in LA and aligned the car again but no changes. Took it too BMW Pacific-169 an hour! and they found no faults but stated that the car really pulls. The service adviser stated its was one of the tightest suspension they have seen in an e30 in years. The car still pulls.

Bad tires from Les Schabb Tires?

My car was in an accident in December, the passenger tire hit a car, reason for the rebuilt suspension, could the strut tower be bent? I did not replace that.

Why is my car aligning at different shops, firestone, BMW, Sears but pulling very hard to the right, I mean very hard.

Switch your front wheels with your rear's first. That should rule out bad tires/bent wheels as it's improbable that all tires would be bad. Sticking brake calipers would cause a pull. I'm thinking that if the car can be aligned to factory specs, that would rule out bent suspension. You could also take the car to a quality autobody shop with a frame rack and make sure there's nothing bent. Just some things to check.

How about warped rotors? I know that's one of the signs for the car to pull oddly to one side or the other.

      Just a thought.

The strut tower could be bent at the top posts (the three nuts that hold the strut to the tower/car body). My buddy had this same issue and we ended up replacing both front strut assemblies. Fixed it right up.

But, I'd also check the rotors as was mentioned. Take a peek under the car and see if maybe a faulty CAB or CA itself is the culperit.

I am going to do the wheel swap right now. Did my brakes last month, Brembo rotors, and the dealer said they look perfect. BMW also stated the suspension is great.

Swapthe rims everything is the same. As far as the rotors they are six months old and the steering wheel does shake a little when I apply the brake sometimes. I am going to get them turned next.
