    Drivers side leak

    Hello,

I'm new to the whole world of fixxing my own car (being a uni student). The front drivers side shock is leaking. So do i just replace it or do i have to do both sides? can i put uprated shocks in (i.e; shocks from a 325is or do i have to go for something like coil overs.) Can i change springs later (lower ones) urate bushing or is it worth doing all at one time or is it just a waist of money. I've just been using my e30 320i coupe for drifting and having fun as my e34 535is is my heart

My Goal is a fun little car that wont cost the earth to run/fix. Its hard to do with a bmw in australia

Always do suspension parts in left/right pairs. If original, replace the shocks on all four corners.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
