    Compressed Spring on Road Trip

Finally a shop diagnosis my car. The front passenger spring has compressed and the driver front might have expanded because of this. The mechanic has never seen this in any car except some US stuff. How why, I really do not care at this point. I have a pair of used convertible springs being shipped to me now. The mechanic here in Oregon says I should be able to drive fine, I am going to be slower now. Is there anyone in Seattle who can help me do this? I do not own a compressor and really do not want to hurt myself.
