Oh, sorry I took it that way. Well, I was mostly looking for experience with alternate cheap setups. Reading descriptions all looks the same. Have you seen Ary's description of his cheap coilover setup? You'd think they were gold plated with platinum inserts that get you laid instantly.

I still don't know where KYBs got their rep. Likely just sack hangers or brand name snobs..KYBs are terrific and WAY smoother than billies, especially the "sports" like Kims car has.

My set has over 70,000 miles on them BTW. Hell, bring the wife, we will roast meat on the grille and hang out!

The ebay special KYB + Vogtland isn't ideal for autocross, but it is plenty competent, once of the best stances around, and the price is unbeatable - cheap enough that you can resell them easily later and not be too far out.

The $76 shipped front setup for kyb gr2 shocks is crazy cheap. I put gr2's and tein springs on my 97 prelude that had 200k on stock shocks, and the difference was night and day. I put maybe 4k on the suspension before selling and the car handled awesome, perfect for daily, smooth, and you don't have to- you know- "clench" when you see that rough pavement ahead.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I do that on a regular basis even though mentally, I know I don't have to. It's less "clench" now that Wishno87 has my Borbet A's and I'm on stock weaves with actual rubber on 'em, but still!
