Ok what did i do ? 89 I. had all wheels off. fixed parking brake shoes left rear. adjusted P brake put wheels back on. drive car 30 +- mph OK . 60+ freeway steering wheel now needs about a 10* correction to right.
visual chck- tires correct rotation, steering arms, CAB, rack all look good. all components are fairly fresh. ideas ? just have alignment chked or ? thanks:???:

Not sure what caused wheel to be off at speed.(?)
Might be a good idea to take it in for an alignment - for sake of tire life if anything.

Otherwise, steering wheels aren't too hard to remove and re-center.
Disconnect battery for ~30 min+ to disarm airbag (if you have one) prior to messing with it.

im not sure what your problem is, but maybe you put a wheel in a different spot than it was before, and it may be your issue. sometimes bends and problem wheels become more obvious when you move them to the front.

Maybe. but car was driven from Bay area to Santa Barbara and same steering deal. I thought if I had it too tight the p bark shoes would have.. umm.. 'seated' , burned in, by then ! this is my sons car. he said he didn't smell any thing. but who knows what they may've been doing in the car ! i'm going to check
