    m3 springs front/stock springs rear

I'm pretty satisfied with the stance of the OEM rear, however, the front can use a bit of lowering. I was wondering if any experts can chime in if this is a stupid move to have m3 springs on the front and and oem 325is springs in the rear?

according to the master spring list, the m3 spring rates don't differ that much of the 325is springs.

I would think that M3 front springs would give you more understeer since you are increasing the front spring rate without compensating in the rear. It is also not the sort of thing you want to bandaid with a thicker rear swaybar. Doing that would probably make your car more prone to snap-oversteer. All this "stance" stuff is getting out of hand.

Install all four of the same springs and use drop hats and spring pads to get to where you want. ie: stacked spring pads in the rear and drop hats in the front. This is what I will be doing.

          Cheaper than coilovers at least.
