    Steering clunking?

Replaced all the springs an struts/shocks this weekend. What a pain the fronts are. Went with bilstein sports and H&R sport.
Now the car is safe to drive again, the stock dampers were completely blown.

Anyway, now driving around, i'm getting a clunk or pop kind of sound that is caused by steering input. It happens when i turn the wheel more than 1 turn either direction. It sounds like something being released from tension.
    any ideas?

That could be; bad upper strut mounts, bad control arms, bad tie rods. When you did the front struts it would have been the perfect opportunity to replace any of the other suspension parts that had even a hint of wear.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Try raising the front off the ground (use jackstands!) and give each front wheel a shake. Once with your hands at 9 and 3 o'clock and another at 12 and 6. See if you can feel any slack or looseness.

None there, did that before i put it back on the ground.
        Top strut mounts are new.

did have to undo the tie rod ends, and the lollipop to get the strut clear of the fender. Used an air gun to tighten them back on.
