Aluminum Steering Guibos

I can get these made very cheaply. After seeing the guibo destruction thread, I think it is time. Anyone else want some (CNC 6061)...Probably <$40

I'd be interested. I'd like to see some more machining than just a cylinder with holes drilled in it. Maybe a cross shape or at least some simple pocketing to take the weight away.

Why in the world does a <<1lb aluminum piece need weight reduction? If you're really that concerned, just dremel it.

That said, I might be able to pocket out a couple of spots if it doesn't add too much machine time.

I'll try and pull mine this weekend to get dimensions, then i can get a quote from my machinist with more details.

There's no way it needs "weight reduction".

Anyone looking for weight reduction on a 1/4lb part should check their waistline first.
