Need info about revalving Bilstein Sports to be firmer.

I'm currently running Bilstein Sport G60 shocks from the Corrado.

Has anyone gotten their Sports revalved to be more firm? What specifications did you get the rebound and compression revalved to / what would you recommend?

I'm weighing this option against getting the Ground Control revalved Koni Sports. I really don't need the adjustability feature of Koni's if I can just get the Bilsteins valved to the firmness I'm looking for.

I've dealt with their unbelievable horrible customer service in the past and would rather know exactly what I want going into this.

It took them 4 MONTHS to send me the correct collar nuts...

What springs do you have? Bilstein Sport shocks are firm enough to handle the spring rates of H&R Race springs. Only TMS J-Stock springs or coil-overs are stiffer. And in the latter case the shocks that are furnished with a true coil-overs kit should be matched to the springs.

I assume you have GC Conversion kit or similar? Call Bilstein. There is a form on their site for revalving. You can call and talk to that department. Give them rates. Send in sheet. They do their thing and send back.

I had my E36 m3 shortened/revalved years ago. Was a pretty quick turn around. Was consdering this before I sold what I had and purchased new GC/Koni. 500lb is about the max you want to mess with for Bilstein Sport in according to the guy at Bilstein... so depending on your rates might want to consider that.

I called the east office first being in Atlanta. They can't do the sealed bilstein sport springs. California can. Called there. Got transfered. Talked to someone. He was very helpful.
