How often do you hit your bumptops, if ever, when you are turned down fairly low? I'll be modifying my billies within the month. Just trying to see what I can expect.

At my sig height, with 300# rates, only on potholes or railroad tracks. Cornering and regualr road stuff wont bottom it out

beat me to it. even on the potholes and railroad tracks, they shouldnt bottom out that badly

How do you cut the bumpstops? remove the strut insert?

yes, remove the insert from the housing. Knock of the cap on the bottom of the strut insert and pull the shaft out. Cut the bumpstop one inch from the top. Remove cut piece and put the strut back together, then reinstall the strut insert into the housing and onto the car. Done

Anyone think that maybe they put that bumpstop there for a reason? Just maybe?

Are you removing all of the bumpstop or just some of it?
