What thickness of washers need to be used to prevent this? I'm planning to use E90 drop hats with Dinan fixed camber plates.

i think you are safe with e90 drop hots, the walls are not as high as the ones provide by Keith. If you use a thicker washer on keith's drop hates, you'll simply counter the effects of the them and end up with 5mm less drop... which is essential the e90 drop hate height.

I added the e90 drop hats with H&R sports and now I have a spring popping noise when I slowly turn. I need to see if there is binding/scrapes in the strut tower. I also used the existing strut bearings that were about 2 years old.

Sorry to bump this up, but none of the photos posted in the other thread are loading, and I'm curious as to what is it that needs to be ground down on these mounts. Does anyone have any pictures?

If you goto the drop hat thread which is sticky'd in this sub-forum you'll see the issue comes from people forgetting or incorrectly re-installing the washer on the drop hat. I have had the e90 hats for over 2 years with no issues whatsoever.
