    Steering rack rebuild kits

Do they make these? I have an e36 rack I want to install, but since I don't know it's mileage or exact condition I wouldn't mind getting it rebuilt first before installing.

Has anybody done this, how much is the kit and how involved is it?

    thanks

I heard it's prettyyyyyyy fucking damn near impossible/hard to do it yourself. There's like 40+ seals internally that get replaced when you send it in to like Maval or something to be reman'd.

dont do it. its a fucking pain and waste of time and money.

at least from my experience, i ended up buying a fresh rack for my car because i did more bad
than good on my original rack :(
