Causes for rear coil spring bind

So I was working on my rear brakes today and saw that the my H&R Race springs have been binding (Can see the marks on them touching), what may be causing this? First thing I thought of was the shocks but are only 3 years old (Bilstein)...The coil bind occurs on both left and right of the car.

Not sure if it makes a difference but my sub-frame bushings are shot, can that be a reason to why the springs bind or is it more aimed towards the shocks?

    Thanks for the help.

That is more a function of the loads carried in the car and the roads driven. Race springs are intended for use in a race environment, meaning only a driver in the car, reduced weight, and relatively smooth surfaces. On a daily driver with greater weight of/in the car and poorer road surfaces you may bottom out the springs.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I noticed the exact same thing today on my car. I'm leaning towards this being relatively common when using H&R Race springs and Billy Sports on daily driven cars. Anyone else seeing this? And is it something we should be concerned about?

IIRC, H&R race springs are progressive so the springs have 2 or 3 dead coild which sit on eachother and your actual rate comes from the coils above and below the dead coils. i.e. they are supposed to do that. its not a problem.
