    Cheapest Suspension Setup???

    ive got a 84 318i, suspension is shot. im looking for the cheapest way to go? im swapping in the m20b25 and will have the subframe from that on my car. does this make a difference? let me know thanks

    Front struts are 51mm on the 325 as opposed to the 45mm 84 318 ones. Also, you'll be gaining vented front discs.

    Swap the rear swaybar in, too.

      What do you mean by suspension is shot? It's probably all the bushings and stuff that are actually gone, tie rods, ball joints, cabs, rear subframe bushings etc.

      I'd just find stock 325i springs and cheap OEM replacement struts. Not sure the cheapest bushings.

        When I mean shot I mean both struts are blown in front, and the springs broke. They literally cracked in half lol. But I also want to go for a lower look aswell

          I have front struts, springs, sway bars, rotors, calipers and bunch of other stuff for the e30..

              tokico shocks and springs with m20 strut tubes. Maybe $400 with new pads and rotors.

                find some used setup in the FS section. And swapping over to late model suspension would be a good idea for compatability.
