    Mad Rake - PICS added

I just finished swapping out my front stock suspension for H&R Sports with Bilsteins.

I did not get to the rear because my trunk lock is FUBAR, so the stock suspension is still on there.

It is almost comical how it looks right now.

I can imagine. At least its not tugboating, just the opposite plus some :P I havent done any suspension stuff on my E30, but getting a 2002 completely level can be difficult :|

All I have done is back it out of the garage. I'll take it out later today. I have a coolant leank I am trying to trace.

Why do you need to open the trunk to do the rear suspension? The shocks mount in the top boot.

H&R Sports lowered your car THAT much in the front? Or is it just because the rear isn't done, so it's making the front lower?

I was going to do the rear bumper swap out while I had it jacked up at the same time.

Also, it was about 1 am when I got done doing the fronts last night (got a late start!).

Yeah - that is part of it. Also, the Cabrio Sports do drop a slight bit more in the front than the Sedan ones.

                        Stiff front shocks = understeer.

The sheer wallowing and higher roll center the rear has would likely overcome that though. Pushing that car could get scary quick.

Not gonna happen. I have the rear coming off now. Problem is I broke off one of the lower shock mounting bolts and have to go get a bolt extractor for it. :x

Really? I kept thinking the opposite... Wow, hmm, guess I was wrong. Now that I really think about it, that does make more sense.
