Power steering removal - how to keep reservoir?

I can't find an answer to this. I think my PS is going to die soon and I want to be prepared. If I have to "delete" the PS until I can find a new pump/decide what I want to do, I want to keep the reservoir in the system. My rack leaks so I want to be able to top off the fluid.

Do I need any special lines to do this or can I just take the line from the reservoir to the pump and hook that directly into the rack. Or is there an adapter I will need.

I just want to be prepared if I need to do a quick delete for a few weeks.

You can connect both of the lines that attach to the reservoir to the rack. The banjo bolt for one isn't the right size, but with no pressure on the system it won't leak.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Alright, so I don't need any new hardware? The banjo fitting bolt still fits even though it is the wrong size? Maybe I am just getting confused.

Edit: So I had time to do some more research. If I am reading realoem correctly then the rack is a M14 banjo bolt while the reservoir to pump hose is a M16. I don't see how I could get it to work.
