              WTF are you complaining about? Thats a piece of plastic thats sits between two pieces of WEIGHT BEARING METAL. Of course its going to rip or tear. Its not going to effect anything functionaly. Just take that piece off and run the spring directly on the adjuster. You'll be fine. If you done like that then run no adjuster
