    Differential Help

    I am tryin to take the 2.93 lsd out of my parts car but I cant seem to get the allen bolts off of the axles so it can just drop out, what should I do?
    '90 325is DD, 5 spd swap-H&R springs-Euro Headlight Fully Built OBD1 M54b30. Ox Blood interior, 3.46 LSD with Z3M Diff Cover. Custom shifter, every bushing replaced.
    '86 325e- Donor car for swap/parts car

      Liberal applications of PBlaster and time for it to work (hours or days, not minutes) and the use of an impact wrench will get those bolts out.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        I reccomend a breaker bar. And if that doesnt work, a sudden smack witha sledge hammer. Thats what I had to do to 2 of those allen bolts I did yesterday. The sudden application of force breaks them loose. But make sure you have the right sided allen socket. Dont want to strip them:)
