Weird clunky noise from passengers side.. HELP

I've searched around and saw a few people had this problem but haven't found any answers on what it could be... I have basically brand new billy sports/H&R sports that are a few years old and all new CA bushings, sway bar links, CAs, etc. Its ONLY on my passenger side... the car drives solid but when I go over bumps it does not sound right. I know theres an exhaust heat sheild there that could be causing it but I highly doubt it. Any help would be awesome!

mine does the same thing, so i haven't driven it for like a month now.. it sounds like something is loose in the upper portion. like maybe the bearing is binding up or something? i can pop the wheel off and there is no play, but putting the wheel back on, if i jump up and down on the bumper, it makes the noise. effing annoying.

any of that sound familiar? i thought maybe i put a washer or something in the wrong spot.

The same thing was going on with one of mine a few months ago. When I took the wheel off and inspected, everything felt and looked solid. It just kept getting worse or a few months and was driving me nuts.
Finally I hit a pothole one day on the freeway and heard a ping and clunk (like something hit the under side of the car). When I was exiting the freeway I hit the breaks and my drivers side wheel locked up, but released when I let off the break.
Long story short, it was one of the break caliper bolts that had worked it's self loose and finally came off. As soon as I replaced he bolt the rattling went away.

I definitely don't think its a loose caliper bolt. its more like what lucky7 described, weird looseness in the upper portion. I'm almost 100 percent positive I did everything right but the sound makes me question it. Its also weird it only comes from one side...

Are you sure the top strut bolts are tight?

Have someone put their finger on the strut top while you push up and down. You can feel loosness before you can see it.

          Also check the sway links.

took it apart and found out it was because the place where the strut bolts into the strut housing wasn't tight enough. tightened it and solved the problem.
