Sorta, but I can tell you some of the things that were discussed in recommending these rates.

    Fat girlfriend (yes/no)*

What struts and shocks in the future.

    How much in the trunk.

    What school moving to.

How many autocrosses and where is closest to the new school.

*NOTE. The spring rates recommended should not be used to surreptitiously determine the weight of anybodys girlfriend.

440/625 are very dd-able. I am on 550/675 in a light 84 318i chassis (2500lb total weight with engine swap), beat that 318is lol.

Full interior. Had the car corner weighted at a race shop, so this aren't truck stop numbers either. Half a tank of gas, no spare tire/tools.

Update: I got the car finished up with the 375/475 I was recommended and I'm really dissapointed with the rates. Could go a little stiffer in the front and a lot stiffer in the rear. 440/625 would be perfect. :(

It sounds like you have standard Bilsteins. Ground Control has to be careful not to overwehelm the damping with too much spring when we are forced to match the parts that are already on someones car.

If you give me call, I can help you tune the car.

I had 450/650 on my car 318is and the ride was perfect, although I did have the adjustable koni shocks too.

I wouldn't go any softer than 440/625 if I were you.
