Rear shock top mounts, need picture

I installed new top shock mounts in the rear and I have a bad clunk still because the top 'hat' is hitting the bottom one. When I took them apart the first time they did not look like they were put together properly. Well being an E30 newb I just went along with it and said, well it must be right. Well, there is no way it is right. Can someone please get me pictures to exactly what I need for top mounts and how it goes together? This is ridiculous. :roll:

Pelican provides decent instructions on mount replacement. Make sure you put the washers in the correct direction; note photo figure 5, as well as MattM's diagram. Failure to install it correctly will cause premature failure.

Thanks a ton guys! I knew it was horrible wrong when I put it back together and this just proves I'm right. Now to find out where I can get the parts asap haha. Thanks again!!!!
