    Info on RD springs?

I purchased a pre-owned set of Racing Dynamics springs a while back and have lost contact with the seller. He was supposed to get information on lowering in inches, spring rates, etc. If someone out there knows anything about these springs, please give me a heads up.

AFAIK, RD made only 1 type of spring, so questions about which model they are should not be an issue. So far, the rear sits quite low with bilstien sports and the RD springs, but I just want to know the official numbers are, so I can post in the lowering thread Eurospeed started.

RD has both a Green and Blue Spring the Green's are the real do and the Blue's are made by another company with the RD logo tossed on them.

Well a friend has them but he bought them used and I don't know any number on them.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with them though

Huh? In that thread you are supposed to measure your wheel arches from the ground, spring specs have nothing to do with it.

PSA: There are genuine blues but they are the older model with the non-arial script. They would be 12 year old springs though. I know because I had them and I confirmed with RD that they were in-fact real and a discontinued set. If they were bought new after 2000 they are most likely fake though.

They arent linear so its hard to list a spring rate. They are progressive, 1.5" drop all around.

i have the greens on my car, they came with the car though. now that they are well broken in, my car sits about 1.8" lower. BTW, they handle pretty well, but in their old age, i think im gong to retire them for some stiffer springs, ala IE stage 3...

Thanks Ryan... that's the kind of info I was looking for.

BTW, Mystikal... the thread in the lowering section DOES ask for the advertised drop in inches from the manufacturer of your springs. And the spring rates are for my mental satisfaction.

"- Post a pic of your car (side profile or slight angle is preferred, one that shows both tires/wheels)
                    - List your spring/shock combination
                    - Post the known/approximate amount of lowering
                    - Post the distance the bottom of the fender lip to center of the wheel"
