Want a quiet set of camber plates for the street

My aline weiss M3 has IE race camber plates and while they work I get all sorts or moans and sorts from them.

Before you flame me on cheap chinese parts, I did not install these it was the previous owner. The car has these then H&R rss coil overs go figure 3K for coil over 180 bucks for the part that matters.

So what I would like is who in the NorthEast or some where else with rough roads has what and how do you like them. not these are the best hands down, blah blah blah. I don't need advertisements for products. I want your opinion and do you have product to compare them to say you had another set in you car before hand from a competitor.

I have had Kmac before and they rattled and do not not seem to be durable inmo. I have OEM with crash plates in my other M so that car is quiet minus the brake rattle from running no anti rattle clips.

Remember these are for street orientation as I have switched out the springs already on my RSS kit to softer set up.

Edit: When I mean quiet, I mean rattle free and such not NVH stuff.

    Keep this thread on top!

I want the same, but on stock type springs...and I actually want to gain (yes, go UP) stack height, as when I do my swap I will gain quite a bit of weight (especially because I want a second red top up front) and do not want to change my suspension yet.

    Closing SOON!

NJ and PA roads here...I daily my car with 550/700 spring rates and Vorshlag plates. 75D poly and delrin all around, THR eyeball arms, the works. My camber plates have never made the slightest bit of noise, popping, binding, etc that I've read about here on other camber plates.

      '91 318is - OBD-II S52 swapped - E30 M3 5-lug - 5x120 BBS RC090 (E39 Style 5) - TCK D/A coilovers 550/700 [SOLD]

      '93 525iT - 5-speed swap - 320k and counting

I hear K-MAC's are good, at least good for the street? Let me know if you will sell your old one's once you find new ones.

Ground Control has prototypes running around the backwoods of Northern California, and it sounds exactly like what you are wishing for.

New Product announcement from a few weeks ago.

Norfolk has shitty roads agreed, tax base thing I believe as NoVa doesn't have that issue.

Jay it looks like the prototype can use a stock spring? Or is that a 2.5 inch set up?

From the link, it sounds like you can swap out the perch and run stock, 60mm, or 2.5" springs.

Exactly. They come with one set of whatever you want, and if you change your setup, you can buy just the different size perches.

I ran Vorschlag plates for a while and LOVED them. I thought they road too stiff so I switched them out for Kmacs which have a bunch of urethane in them; it made zero difference. Anything other than OEM is going to transmit more road noise/vibration, so go with the best plate engineering-wise. Vorschlag gets my vote.

I have GC's in the E30 and have no problems and they ride very nice. I just picked up some TC Klein Plates for the E36 and those are also very very nice. Heard good things about Vorshlag too.
