    IE 25/22 Sway

What you guys think of 25/22 SwayBar kit from ireland engeenering

reason being is i bought Suposely "Spec E30" Rear Sway from a friend Friend. but Spec E30 that i see everyone sell including I.E are 22/19 non adjust
When i went to measure it w/ a caliper it was at 22.45-22.65 mm
so guessing the Suposely the one i bought is not spec e30

so now i gotta buy the front to match it

and i wanna know what you guys think of the 25/22 kit. Too stiff?

fyi. my rear is a hollow 22 Rear Sway from ie (they no longer make Hollow Rear)

they do too make a hollow rear, I just talked with them a week ago about they're bars. I know a lot of the PRO3 guys run no rear bar or a stock rear, and a 22-25 front. keeps the rear nice and planted.

I got mine on ebay. It was still the "kit" but it was like $390 shipped brand new.

I personally do not like the end link design on the IE kits but that's just me. Make sure you strengthen the rear trailing arm mount for the sway bar, mine ripped off fairly quickly even with the supplied reinforcement from IE.

Overall, the car felt very good with them on. I ran full soft in the front and rear.

The closer the end link is to the end of the bar the softer it will be (end link has more leverage on the sway-bar).

I had mine set up so the end link was flush with the end of the bar.

Guys, how much of a difference is the 25/22 kit compared to stock?
I've been offered a 250$ deal on the whole set, brand new.

                      GET IT! $450 retail.

I think stock is 20/14, but I could be incorrect. Anyhow, if the bars are new with hardware (which is half the cost), jump on it ASAP.

I was talking to a tuning shop in the area that runs several pro3 cars that they use 25/22 sway bars, and until recently their car held the track record at pacific for pro3 cars.

Sounds like two good reasons to get it quick. Should have it tomorrow if everything works out.
Plus I'd probably be paying like 150$ to get it across the pond if I ordered from IE.

I read around and noticed that the front adj. links don't like salty winters, so if I decide to install atleast the front bar now, should I just leave the stock endlinks and install the adjustable ones next spring?

If your car is stock height, then you can get away with the stock links.
