Vickers verses ZF power steering pumps

Hey does anybody know if its possible to swap out the Vickers PS pump for a ZF? If yes, then is there anything else that has to be changed in the process? My pump is about toast and its a Vickers, but all the ones I have seen for replacement are the ZF ones. Any help?

I will just answer my own question. Careful when you trust friends "expert opinion". Especially when they don't know what they are talking about. I just got out from under the car with my light and if you look hard enough then the little steel plate with "ZF" is visible on the pump. The pump I have is a ZF and not a Vickers. So no problem getting a used ZF!
