    drop hat install?

I have not touched my front suspension in a while so i am trying to figure out if i can install the drop hats without disconnecting the strut housing form the a arm and tie rod. Basically seeing if i can do it quick enough before this weekends autox or if i should wait.

Yes, you can, if you have short springs that don't need compressors. (and even if you do, it's possible, but more annoying because space gets tight.

if you don't want to remove the struts, you will have to do most of the install by feel, but it's not complicated enough to make that a problem. Good luck, and if you end up not doing it this weekend, I can probably help you out. (I am out of town this weekend, unfortunately, I wanted to go to that autox :()

Cool thanks, it should not be an issue. I just wanted to make sure it can be done before i start ripping it apart, and on IE3 compressing the springs should not be an issue.

Yeah, no need for compressors on IE3s.
