    Rear shock nut help

Replacing shocks and adding reinforcements. It states to torque the 17mm shaft nut to 10lbs but there is no place to hold while torque socket is on. So first question is how to do this?

Second question, should this be done prior to reinstalling or can I complete this from the trunk?

The Shocks are KW and the reinforcements are AKG (which I believe originally are JT909 or something).

    Thanks

Take a similar fastener and torque it to 10ft-lbs to get a feel for what little torque that is. Then tighten the shock nuts similarly. This isn't a critical part, so close is good enough.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
