    Suspension frustration

    Hey guys,

I've spent hours and hours reading through this forum about what suspension set-up would be right for me. My head hurts and I'm going crazy.

I have a '91 coupe, and I absolutely HATE wheel gap. I would prefer to be slammed, but I don't think that's in the budget right now.

I DD the car, the roads aren't that bad around here, but I do track the car occasionally.

I'm considering HR race with Bilstein Sports, but that just doesn't seem low enough to me even with E90 drop hats and no spring pads.

    Opinions?

If H&R race aren't low enough for your taste, the only other option is coilovers.

I've went through every page of the suspension set up thread and am unsatisfied WITH THE PICTURES. lol.

Are there any other threads not in this sub category?

I've searched with minimal results surprisingly.

if your unsatisfied from coilovers. all youve gotta do is drill holes in the bottom of your shocks, and just remove your springs. you will be slammed!

H&R race with drop hats and pads removed should be sufficient if not remove a few coils ....:pimp:

                    heres what you do.
                    spax 60/60 springs.
                    e90 spring plates.
remove all pads front + rear.

thats slammed. and for the budget minded.

Haha thanks Brett. Yea I'm still running what you see in the link, but I recommended short koni's from GC if you want that ride height up front or anything lower(and shortening your housings along with it).

                          This spring for me!
