revalving shocks

i just remembered that my brother bought used koni adjustable reds, from a guy on ebay, when he got them 2 were busted, so the guy refunded the money and let us keep them. I think im gonna send them all out to get revalved and use them for my car. Does anyone know where to send them to get them done? I think mike sent his bisteins out. I plan on going GC so these would be awsome. Also, doesnt everyone around here uses yellows? anyone know the lowdown on the reds?

I can't help you with info down in the States but there's an excellent shop in Montreal called PMI racing that could revalve them for you. A little far from NJ mind you. PM if you want the details.

Revalve Service

It is vital that the damping rate of the shock absorber be in harmony with the spring rate and unsprung mass of the vehicle on whatever track you are racing. TWe will recommend settings and revalve your shocks to suit all applications (not available on all series of shock absorbers).

Red KONI Special dampers are more biased towards comfort, yellow KONI Sportdampers are so towards handling.

All the above listed places have a 3-5 week turn around. Performanceshock.com out of California is an authorized Koni, Ohlins, Penske, and Moton rebuilder. Same price as all the other Koni rebuilders with a 4-7 day turn around. He will do just about everything, and send you the dyno sheets from the shocks when he is done. Cost is between $110 and $150 plus parts to rebuild for all Koni's.
