I have the old GC plates, never had any problems with them (spun out and hit a curb held up just fine)
This is a question to all my low riding lovers.

God i really need a set of those GC plates. Here are the differences:
Ireland makes two products, one of which is clearly a "camber plate" because it completely replaces the stock upper mount, while the less expensive option you have mentioned is more like a "plate for camber" that bolts up offset between your old upper mount and the body.
The Ireland camber plate is closer in price to the Ground Control Camber/Caster Plate
Here is a pic of the Ground Control "Touring" Camber/caster plate which is $298 List price, but there is an R3V discount if you look in the archives.
Ground Control also has, specifically made for the e30 chassis, a RACE plate, a RALLY plate, a STREET PREPARED plate, a SPEC-e30 plate, in addition to the new "TOURING" plate. Ground Control believes this is a better solution than just having one generic e30 plate, with different spring perches that are bought seperately.
If you have more questions, you can call GC at (530) 677 8600 9-5 PST

your stay here appears that it may be short and your website is hurting my eyes
there is some really good info being shared in this thread, kinda of making me reconsider my camber plate purchase. Wish i would have went with the GC camber caster plates for $40 more...Leave a comment:

Camber plates in theory dont help with low, camber by itself doesnt do much to help. BUT the shorter stack height is crucial on a car that struggles with strut travel. Not all plates are shorter, some IE ones are terrible. Try GCs offering if you have some cash, possibly some cosmo ones if you're willing to go cheaper, but a product there is not as much info on.Leave a comment:
