    Control arm advice

    Hey guys-

Before I order the essential control arms for my suspension rebuild, I need some advice on selecting arms. I have lemforder e30 m3 offset control arm bushings already (roughly $45).

So- what arms to get and where? I know to stay away from Meyle as well as FCP Groton guys.

    Howabout this:

    Thanks

Instead of buying a complete new set of control arms. I just replaced my CAB's with m3 non-offset and it cost me around 130 after labor. Couldnt be happier and for the most part your control arms should still be good unless there bent and that would be hard to do

I don't see anything there that says what your would be getting. Buy control arms from a site that specifically states who the manufacturer is. Lemforder is OE and is the only thing I'll use.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks- the ball joints are completely gone so yes control arms are necessary. The link specifys TRW/Lucas which is OE. It also says Lemforder is now made in Chinese factories. I was set on Lemforder until I read the ad that said their factories are in China.

Not to be a dick, but, do you really trust some schmo eBay ad?

Lemforder is absolutely THE ONLY manufacturer to buy control arms from IMO.

I replaced mine with OCAP arms and my friend replaced his with MEYLE arms. The world ended and we both died.

FCP Groton sells Lemforder however and you can take advantage of their coupon codes. Just google for em.

I went with a pair of Rein arms from Levent at Guten. Hopefully they last more than a year!

You sure about this? I highly doubt they have Lemforder parts. Especially at that price.

If you have access to a press, just replace the ball joints.
