      I've watched clock springs be re-tempered on a gas stove before. It certainly is possible, but finding someone who has the equipment necessary to re-temper a sway bar might be tough, assuming it needs that. I'm a bit out of my element on this topic.
      However given that it is steel, it is certainly re-useable / fixable. The real question is - is it worth your time and money?

        I the problem with giving the steel a heat treat is not knowing what your aiming for. I don't know how the steel was treated when it left the factory and therefore don't know what processes to do. Also just having a sway bar done could be quite expensive.
