    Car pulling left and right

Replaced all control arms, tie rods, springs, struts and bushings. When driving if I do a U-turn to the left the car then pulls to left as I drive, if I follow with a U-turn to right...car pulls to right. Took car in for alignment and told them this along with some sort of clunking when turning wheels at low mph or while parking. Told me everything was tight, fixed "alignment" and told me to go to a frame shop followed up with a tire shop cause my tires are bad...they might have 2,000 on them so I'm confident that's not it especially since it pulls both ways periodically. Suggestions?

thats usually related to steering rack problems, and aligment i have a similar problem...mine is due to bad tierods...check your power steering reservoir....and be sure its properly aligned...i had another e30 with front end damage it didnt pull to the sides so i doubt that is the problem

You forgot the fat washer that goes between the springhat and the the strutmount.

that or the upper strut mounts (aka bearings) are bad. its called memory-steer. the bearings are binding.....and thats where your noise comes from at low speeds.

I agree with the above. The most likely cause of this is binding at the upper strut mounts. That could be as a result of old and worn out mounts (did you replace them), or improper assembly of the strut/mount. A binding steering rack is a possibility, but it would have been doing this before the front suspension refresh if the rack were to be the cause.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The upper mounts are GC Hybrid Camber Plates, these are brand new as well.

I will not rule out improper assembly, not sure how to troubleshoot this though?

Then they're probably binding on the springhats.

                  Can this be corrected, how?

There's a washer that goes between them.

                      This is what I have:

The spring hat and camber plate are one unit fit together with a poly bushing, are you saying that there is a washer that fits on the strut shaft prior to putting this assembly on?

So you're running the GC springs as well?

Jack the front of the car of of the ground and turn the wheels lock to lock and see if you can feel resistance.

There's binding that is preventing your rack from returning to center.

                            No, running KW springs/shocks.

Washer and dust cap were not in...solved binding problem but still having an issue with the "memory steer", any other suggestions? This was not an issue prior to doing the suspension refresh.
