At the risk of being redundant...

I'm looking to lower my car quite a bit. I know coilovers are going to be my best option, as I had an e30 previously on bilstein HD's and eibach pro's and the drop really wasn't good enough for me.

My budget is right at $1,000 for EVERYTHING.

I've read and read on here and it seems like GC coil over conversions are what I want, but I hear really mixed reviews while running these with bilsteins (only shock within my budget at that price)

I'm also running bottlecaps for the moment and am not sure how bad if any rubbing issues I may encounter going that route.

Try to be easy on my guys, I've tried to do as much research as possible, but my available internet time is short.

    Thanks!

        Okay.

So, at the minimum I need a set of Billy Sports and the GC conversion kit.

Do I NEED camber plates, or anything else running stock tire sizes? I'm trying to stay as close to my budget as possible.

No, you don't NEED camber plates but they will help with tire wear later on.

You don't need camber plates. As for bottlecaps, as long as you aren't running any frankenstein tire width you shouldn't have any rubbing issues as the tire will be tucked in the fender well.

You gain a bit of suspension travel with camber plates. I'd highly recommend fitting them in the budget.
