E30 rear billy sports and IE RSM

I have a 1990 325i, just tried to install new rear billy sports with ireland engineering solid/urethane rear shock mount. There is nothing to keep the mount from sliding down the shock while under load. I installed a washer but it is such a small lip on the billys and not sure if it will damage them. has anyone encountered this before?

There is supposed to be a large thick washer on each side of the mount.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

That is what i thought. Neither the mounts out shocks came with one. But like i said i installed some just not sure if they are going to force them selves down the shaft of the shock.

Will those work with the billy sports?

What he said. And they will work perfect with Bilstein. There may be other parts left off however, make sure you have 5 and especially 4.

Make sure to remove the allen bolts, apply loct tite, and re assemble. They have a habit of backing out.

The parts you need should be on your old assemblies.
