    Anyone have this Ebay Setup?

KYB GR-2's, which are essentially stock replacement right?

And Vogtland springs with a 1.5 inch drop.

I am just looking for something better than my 250,000 mile stock suspension with slightly better handling and a better look.

Also, nice and cheap, how I like it.

    Any input? Thanks

I have KYBs on 2 of my E30s, love them. "Supple" is how I would describe the ride, perfect for an old bastard like me.

I have about 70,000 miles on one set, unknown on the other. They still feel great.

Thanks for the input! I had KYB AGX's on my 240SX at one point and they seemed like quality shocks. Even if the GR-2's are step down, I don't need something for the race track.

And have you heard anything of the springs?

I mean 289 for all four springs and shocks seems to be too good to be true. Or maybe just a good deal?

      Thanks!

GR2 is the lowest KYB makes, but they don't make a "ga-a-just" for the front. One car has BavAuto, the other B+G, which as MUCH lower. Lower than IE III or H&R race.

I'm running those shocks with these cosmo racing springs, and I must say it's rides awesome for a 300 combo.

I got all 4 springs for $150 off a member @ e30tech, I just wish they went lower.

            Pic for a reference.

I have vogtlands, love them. Although if I was buying suspension right now id get in on the jom coilover group buy. Full coilover set for 380. Search it, I'm on my phone and can't link you.

These shocks are great IMO. KYB's are high quality. I had them on my 318is with HR race and they were great. They're not suggested for use with more than 1.5" drop though. I have a pair of new rears in the FS section.

That group buy has me all torn up. I can't decide - cheap new coilovers or used bilstein/H&R...

We put this combo (kyb/vogtland) on my cousin's E30 about 2 years ago and it is still performing ok. They are a bit soft, but much better than blown stockers.
