You pick my suspension, I'll buy and take pics!

So... I need help picking out a suspension! The car needs a drop bad... After looking through 18 pages of the ride height thread I'm even more confused...

I want a drop but this is a DD car so I also need it comfortable, so don't want anything super stiff...

Would Billie sports with HR sports be my best bet? Most of the pics I've seen the front looks a little high.

btw- for an '89 325i coupe on 215/45R16 tires

Looking for a nice stance, so... recommendations???????

Op said he didn't want stiff, so you suggest springs TWICE as stiff?

OP, H&R Sports + Billie Sports will be a great combo for a DD. If you have a late model, I'd probably add some drophats as well to the setup. It won't be super low, but will better than the 4x4 status you have now.

If you're looking to be slammed then you'll need coilovers/airbags.

That's not stiff at all. When two of my buddys bought coils from gc they suggested like 450/550 for a dd and that was just to soft. I take it the op isn't going to put on bigger sways. So I suggested a stiffer spring.

The HR sport with new Kyb's is probably the cheapest and most comfortable option in my opinion. HR race and kyb's worked well for me too, not bad for a daily. Bilstein/HR will last the longest but bilsteins are stiff from cars I've road in. I just installed D2 coilover package and it is ride on rails very stiff. I would avoid coilovers from the sound of what you're looking for.

Bilstein sports, H&R sports, and 15mm drophats give a great DD ride and nice stance imo. Coupe link in my sig for reference..

i have billstein struts and hr sports on my convertible. its not nearly low enough for my liking. it handles pretty good but there is still fender gap in the front and some in the rear.

                          Front- Bilstein Sports 34-003350
                          Rear- Bilstein Sports 24-020275

                          Springs:
Which one??: H&R OE Sport (1" drop) or H&R Sport (1.3" drop)? Any difference in ride quality?

                          Drop hats for front:
                          e30, e90, or the m-technic 15mm??

BTW- i'm now putting this to drop the car on 15x7.5 front and 15x8 rear wheels
