not exactly sure what it was called so its the thing i circled in the picture. my had a fender bender which bent the hell out of my tie rod. while replacing i noticed that the bolt that holds the bracket had ripped through completely. the bracket fell right off. is this dangerous to be driving around with off? is this a big enough deal that i wouldnt want to invest in suspension for this car? will it be expensive to have the little tab welded back on just for the bracket to secure to? lemme get some feed back guys:)

Driving w/o the sway bar just means more body roll in corners than normal. With car is won't be dangerous.
I have problem with visualizing how you could bend a tie rod and the sway bar bracket and not bend the control arm. Did you replace it along with the tie rod?The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Just get a replacement bracket. They aren't that much at all. Did it tear the subframe slot out? I had this on my car and ended up replacing my sub frame in order to fix it properly. Mine was bent, and when trying to bend it back it snapped off. I didn't want to weld so I dropped the control arms, motor mounts, and removed the steering rack and the removed the 4 retaining bolts.sigpic

The part that you've circled in green is your sway bar mounting bracket.
The bracket is a five dollar part... Probably want to do the bushings also. A pretty cheap fix really.
