What power steering fluid?

    What power steering fluid?

    Aside from OEM, what is everyone running? I just bought a 2000 Z3 steering rack and I'm in the process of swapping it. I've always used Napa 9800 and it's worked fine in my stock rack.. Just wondering if anyone has something better they'd like to recommend. Something in a thicker viscosity for a shorter lock to lock, perhaps?

      I use ATF. Pretty sure it's OE recommended.

          ATF is the correct fluid for the power steering system.

          The steering ratio is fixed by gear ratio in the rack. A heavier or lighter fluid won't affect that.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
