    GC Coil question

Got a friend that is unloading a brand new GC kit off his Subaru for $200. But I am guessing that it is not the same spring kit as the E30 one. It just looks the same. Does anyone know if it will work?

    * It is the $400 kit

Probably not. I would just call GC and ask. The springs are all the same generic Eibachs. What sets them apart are the adjuster perches. The fronts need to fit over your struts and the rears need to fit over the spring perch nub.

I kinda figured that was the case, I am going to give them a call.

More than the perches the spring rates are quite different from car to car. Depending what year subaru, the car could be substancially heavier than the e30 and make your car bounce/ride higher than the coils were designed to

Even if the springs are decent rates for you, GC wont sell just the perches.
