    Koni front strut install question

I am in the process of installing ground control coilovers and koni SA shocks all around. I have a question about the front strut inserts. When I put the strut inserts in the strut the top of the strut insert body is about 3 or 4 inches below the top of the strut housing.
I can take pictures if needed.
I did not order shortened konis so I am wondering if I have the right konis or not.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Well, it looks like I was sent the shortened koni inserts. I need to call bimmerworld and have them send me the spacer for the strut insert. Now I have to decide if I want to cut up my strut housings for more travel or to just use the spacer.
Does anyone have any opinion on shortening the strut tube?

    Nick
