Urgent Sway Bar question / vert

What do I need to look out for when buying sway bars? My front sway bars are shot, at least that's what a mechanic friend told me. Don't feel like asking him this question, because he is not a friend when it comes to business (lol). I need new sway bars, and I don't know what to look for and look out for. Please give me your opinions! oh and does it matter if it's a vert sway bar or a "is" or just "i" sway bars? would they fit on my vert? I'm also getting a JOM coilover kit...

Well first off sway bars don't wear out. (incoming scientific blabber about metal fatigue)

He is probably talking about your bushings and endlinks.

Also do not take a stock sway bar from any other model and put it in yours. The vert has the largest factory front sway bar so anything else will be a downgrade.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I can hear the engineers now, stress over strain blah blah blah.

Just refresh the endlinks and mounts

I suggest not taking any advice from your mechanic friend ever again. Next he will say you need new wheels because your tires are low on air.
