Alright, Ive got a '90 325ic. Basically completely stock, but I would LIKE to flip it out a little bit before the E30 picnic in Washington coming up. Although I am asking this now I sort of doubt I'll get around to it with the time and money I have available.
First of all, its not a track car but spirited driving is indeed on the list. I dont want something so stiff like IE stage III's that would twist my car so much it would make creaking noise on even the smoothest roads but wouldnt mind something a little stiffer than stock.
I was thinking about H&R sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks but then also was considering the cup kit. The cup kit, afaik, drops the car considerably more but is it how much stiffer is it really?
I have really dont care for massive fender gap :D. I guess, what would really be ideal is if there were pics of cabs with either of those suspension setups, or similar, eibach, whatever. As long as its not a coilover or ie stage 3 drop. I searched and didnt really see a whole lot.
Also, what is the deal with shox.com saying NOT FOR CABRIO? I know people use those on ic's but whats the deal, just because cabs are flexy flyers or is there some other weird underlying reason that I dont know about? Still learning...
