Does anybody have pictures of their car with the GC coilover conversion kit, with stock spring caps on the shocks? Just trying to get a sense of whether or not it will be low enough w/out welding the included caps on their... My guess is no ;)

You can go very low if you want, so long as you don't mind crashing into the bump stops all the time. I run the perch almost all the way up.2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison

Thanks for the advice. I just wasnt sure how low you could go w/ out cutting the caps, as everyone I see is running the GC caps.Comment

What are you refering to when you say "caps"?Comment

The spring "perches" or "caps", heard them called both. Im going to go out on a limb and say you're a GC employee?Comment

Good guess...
Here's an '89 on stock dampers all the way down in front without the perches removed...

Alright, thanks a lot. Just ordered mine a couple days ago, service was excellent. Im assuming w/ Bilsteins it would be a lil' bit lower? The perches appear to be in a different spot.Comment

The perches are in exactly the same location. The dampers are "inserts" and all utilize the same strut housing.
If you have Bilsteins, you may be riding on the bumpstops at this height.Comment
