power steering fail

hey guys, whats the signs of a power steering pump failure as compared to a unadjusted belt. tonight coming home from work, she started squeeling really bad and hard to steer when turning. to tired to crawl under tonight in the dark. i'll do that tomorrow but i just had the t-belt done last week and had all new belts put on too. would this hard steer/ squeel issue be pump or belt related?

This could be either, but an improperly tensioned belt is more likely.
