    coilover spring/sleeve length

What size length spring and sleeve is ideal?

Also for the rear, who else makes a coilover spring besides eibach? or will a 2.5id spring w/ sleeve and adjuster work?

Just looking at some options other than GC to see if i can come out cheaper w/o compromising on quality too much

    thanks

Once you factor in the cost of springs and rear adjusters, the GC kit is pretty hard to beat.

Ideally you would want the whole entire strut housing/body threaded. ;)
Most guys run 5", 5.5" or 6" front springs but it really depends on your spring rate.
LOTS of other companies make 2.25", 60mm or 2.5" springs.
On the rear just get the right lenght and weight spring and you won't need an adjuster. Most BMW's that run low don't even have the rear adjuster in.

Not really. Not knocking GC at all because they make great quality stuff and I've ran them in several cars.
But for the cheap stance kids or anyone in general looking to cobble up their own coil-overs there are tons of other univeral stuff out there.

what im considering doin is getting some afco sleeves/adjusters and some hypercoil or afco springs for the front w/ billy sports. who sells springs for the rear individually?

if i go w/ afco stuff, it can be had for about $180 from summit
