    tierod removal

I've been trying to remove the suspension bits out of the way to install new strut inserts, but I've been stuck on the tierods. I tried banging the tierods for a hour and an half with a pickle fork to no avail....
is their anyother methods that don't destroy your tierod-ends?

pickle fork will surely destroy the boot eventually.
Yes, take a BIG hammer to the control arm where the tie rod fit in and hit it there. Hammer ti'll it comes loose. If, and that's a big if it still hasn't...torch the metal where it fits in on the control arm being careful not to torch the tie rod boot. Now if you don't need it then no worries. You could also try putting the nut flush on the head of the tie rod and hit that downward. you will surely mushroom the head on the nut but not ruin the threads.
