coilovers option?

I had KW V1's on my R56 Cooper S. They were freakin' fantastic. Ride was great. The struts are shorter so I got ridiculously low and still could have gone down about another 2". Not noisy at all. Handling was vastly improved. All the factory adjustments were pretty much perfect for "spirited driving" and occasional track days. Bottom line: you can't go wrong with KW.
I've also heard good things about BC, but have had no experience with them.
VMaxx is another good option for a DD, if you can find them. They're about half the price of KW V1's and are really good quality coils that get you just as low. Lots of MINI and VW folks love them.
I've only ever heard horror stories about D2. Ride sucks, constant leaking, doesn't go low enough. The list goes on.
I've neither heard or had experience with emotion or yellow dps.sigpic -
there was a group buy for some JOM coilovers on here that don't require any cutting or welding (although it is an option to slam your E30; I didn't for the sake of my oil pan). I got them for $400 to my door and I'm pretty happy with the results of them, especially for the price. It's a good 1.5" lower and definitely gets rid of that awful wheel gap that our bricks come with. Ride quality isn't too bad either. Body roll is much less as well. The dampening is not adjustable, however the springs are.
talk to MightyWhitey. See if he can still hook you up with them.1989 325i - 2.7i, Holset H1C, 60lb injectors, whodwho MS-PNP.

You do understand that most coilovers, even the ones you listed, will need to be modified.
Here is your best bet if you have the money. They do the cutting, cleaning and assembly for you. Comes with Konis as well.
$1100
