    1st suspension upgrade..am i forgetting something

I will have a 87 325is tomorrow and i want to get started right away.

    im ordering:
    #1.GC COIL KIT... http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=121/CA=98U

    #2.BLISTEN HD SHOCKS... http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp

    #3.K-MAC plates.... http://www.k-mac.com/pages/newprods/...w_3_series.htm

#4. OEM parts..this is where im unsure. K-MAC has bushing kits but nohing as extensive as what I saw on ECS Tuning checking out other threads. Here is what ecs sells. http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E30-325...aign=postreply

I plan on doing mostly drifting with this car but I will also be driving it as my DD..i want to do the suspension the right way but also not spend to much more money since i will also be getting EIBACH SWAYS and some kind of struts..im just not sure what components ARE important to be changed. and is there a cheaper way without loosing quality to replace the oem parts??
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

1 - Call GC and ask them what struts they recommend with their coversion kit. I am pretty sure it's not bilstein HD's

2 - Those probably aren't the right choice. You mention at the end you are planning on getting struts, these are struts, I am confused.

3 - Get GC camber plates

4 - At the very least get new control arm bushings. You can get the M3 offset ones that give more caster and are a solid design.

5 - The best option is to get the real GC coilover kit. They will spec it to your needs and it will be great.

I am pretty sure that you'll Bilstein Sport shocks and the K-mac plates are not much more than junk. Get GC plates. As blefevre said, you'd be a lot better off with a complete GC kit. It will cost a little more but all of the parts will play nicely together.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
