Has anybody trying to slam an early DB car on GC's had any issues with the REAR shocks bottoming out? I mean really low in the back, trying to tuck tire.
GC question?

Stock length shocks? -
Your control arm hardware will touch before the shocks bottom.Comment

The main thing is going to be running REALLY stiff rates so you stay off the bumpstops.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Since the upper most mounting point is higher than stock, does that not in the end result in "more available" travel?Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Nope, the bumpstop doesn't fit in the bore. It will stop at the the flange just like the short mount.Comment

Ohh maybe need to modify the bump stop? I am running these and I've noticed I still have about 1" of travel before the black rubber stop moves all the way up.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Are you bottoming?Comment

No, I am not... but my car isn't slammed and my rear rates are 675. I was only suggesting that maybe taller rear mounts would help the OPMtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

DB car-check
Tire tucking low-check

GCMark is absolutely correct, IF I could get shorter springs I could tuck wheel and still wouldn't be having issues with rear shocks bottoming. 750lb rear springs, Standard GC shock mounts(on the left above), Koni Shocks.Comment

Trailing arm bottoming out on the body, shock still has like .5" of travel
